Itineris Media is a filmmaking company that needed to revamp its logo.

PROBLEM
The original logo wasn't communicating the desired tone and the design felt outdated. Not many people are familiar with the Latin word "Itineris" which means journey so I needed to find a way to modernize the original logo while bringing movement to the design. 
SOLUTION & IMPACT
I redesigned the logo to resemble a portal, as a nod to the original logo, but from a different angle as though someone is moving through it. I sent a logo questionnaire out to learn how people understood the logo and although, no one said "journey" directly, they understood it as a "gateway" or "sound waves" which is still in line with the goal.
PROCESS
I prepped three distinct personas to present to the client to spark a creative​​​​​​​ conversation and build the brief. These mood boards were intended to discuss questions like If Itineris Media were a movie, what movie would it be? Where would Itineris Media go for a movie screening?
After feedback from our mood board conversation, I started my ideation session with a mindmap to get ideas flowing and then moved on to sketching.
I presented three logo concepts and my inspiration for each, including a mockup of how each concept could extend to the brand. 
The middle option was chosen because it encapsulates movement, represents transcendence, and spirituality, and relates to listening to music and/or films.
